　　Do you agree that childhood is the happiest (or most precious) time in life?

　　I agree that childhood is the happiest time in life. First, in childhood, we can spend much time taking part in kinds of activities and develop interest in many hobbies like art, biology and science. And we don’t have to worry about heavy homework and exams. Second, children are simple-minded. When we grow up, we have to meet a series of events, like intensifying and social pressure. So, adults’ mind would be complex, and feel tired. Thus, childhood is the happiest time in life.

　　Describe a city or town where you have lived. Explain why this place is either a good place or not a good place to live.

　　Chuan island, a small island in Guangzhou city, is a good place to live in. Chuan island is far from downtown, so there’s no noise pollution and air pollution. The landscape there is absolutely beautiful. Tropical plants are around everywhere, everything is green. The sea is not large, but is very clear and hasn’t been polluted. The color of sandy beach is white, which feels smooth and soft. In the evening, you’ll see thousands of stars in the sky, like a painting. It is so good place that I want to live there all the time.

　　Some students study for classes individually. Others study in groups. Which method of studying do you think is better for students and why?

　　In my opinion, studying in a group is better. First, it is easier for us to feel tired and become lazy when studying individually. But by studying in a group, we can have motivation to study harder and the atmosphere of study will be relaxing. Second, we can solve the problem that we can’t solve alone and increase the knowledge through the communication with others. By studying in a group, we can understand each other deeply and enhance friendship without our awareness during the course of the discussion. So, I think studying in a group is better.

　　What time in a year you like most?

　　My birthday is the day I like most in a year. First, I can eat birthday cake in my birthday day. I like desert very much, such as cake, cookie and ice cream. But in order to keep health and weight, I can hardly eat it. In my birthday day, I can eat cake as much as I can. Second, my family and friends will send me many presents and hold a birthday party for me. We can do many interesting things on the party like singing, dancing, playing games and so on. It will be fun and we all enjoy it. So, my birthday is the day I like most in a year.

　　Do you agree or disagree: Having a relaxed or unhurried life is the most important for a person?

　　I agree that having a relaxed life is the most important for a person. First, having a relaxed life can improve the quality of study or work. It is impossible for a person to study or work well if she/he does not have a healthy body and enough rest. Second, having a relaxed life can improve the quality of life. We can spend much time with family and friends doing many activities, such as hiking, traveling, climbing and so on. It’s not only increase the response between people, but also cut down our pressure.
